Design and Simulation of 8~18GHz Double-ridged Horn Antenna

摘要: 喇叭天线是结构较为简单的一种天线,其带宽能够做到很宽,且在时域上具有较好的保真性。在工作频率大于15GHz 时,后瓣开始出现分裂现象,且旁瓣功率增大。喇叭腔体内加入脊结构,能够增加带宽、降低阻抗、提高增益以及加强辐射的 方向性。本文设计了在8~18GHz的带宽下工作的双脊喇叭天线,经过HFSS仿真验证该天线具有良好的电性能和辐射性能。Abstract: The horn antenna is an antenna with a relatively simple structure. Its bandwidth can be very wide, and has good fidelity in the time domain. When the operating frequency is greater than 15GHz, the backlobe begins to split and the sidelobe power increases. The addition of a ridge structure into the horn cavity can increase the bandwidth, reduce the impedance, increase the gain and enhance the directivity of the radiation.This paper designs a double-ridged horn antenna that works in a bandwidth of 8~18GHz. The HFSS simulation verified that the antenna has good electrical and radiation performance.
