Analyzing and Comparing Similarities and Differences between SQL Server and MySQL in Higher Vocational Education

摘要: 数据库课程是高等职业教育中计算机及其相关专业的基础核心课程,同时也作为一门通识教育课程在很多其它专业进行选修,SQL Server和MySQL作为两种非常典型的关系型数据库[1]常常用于数据库课程的教学中[1]。文章根据笔者多年的教学经验和实验实践总结,对SQL Server和MySQL数据库在高职教学中的相似性与差异性进行了详细的分析与比较,期望对学习数据库的学生及从事数据库教学的老师有一定的帮助作用。

Abstract: Database is a basic core course for computer science and its related majors and is a general elective course for other majors in higher vocational education. SQL Server and MySQL: two typical relational databases are always applied in teaching database courses. This essay elaborately analyzes and compares the similarities and differences between SQL Server and MySQL in fields of higher vocational education in terms of years of teaching experiences and practices of author. The students who are studying database courses and the instructors who are teaching database curriculum can absorb the benefits from the paper, hopefully.
