    Abstract
  • Database is a basic core course for computer science and its related majors and is a general elective course for other majors in higher vocational education. SQL Server and MySQL: two typical relational databases are always applied in teaching database courses. This essay elaborately analyzes and compares the similarities and differences between SQL Server and MySQL in fields of higher vocational education in terms of years of teaching experiences and practices of author. The students who are studying database courses and the instructors who are teaching database curriculum can absorb the benefits from the paper, hopefully.
